I've just started listening to this new guy on the Hong Kong music scene Alex Fong. Now, the word new is very relative. His first album was released in mid 2003.
The short version of the story is that he's an ex-Olympic swimmer for Hong Kong, and something of a hearththrob for the girlies out there. He's cut a couple of albums, among which are "Never Walk Alone" and "True".
Both albums contain a few good songs. I like Ho Ho Luen Ngoi (cantonese, literally translated as Love Properly or maybe Nicely Love) from the Never Walk Alone album and Ho Sum Ho Bo (cantonese, translated as Good Heart Good Reward) from the True album.
As a side note, there are two versions of both Ho Sum Ho Bo and Ho Ho Luen Ngoi - one where he sings solo, and the other is a duet with Stephy Tang. Pretty interesting huh?

I've just started to know Alex Fong too, but I haven't heard his songs yet. Only this themesong from Feel 100%. He sings this with Daniel Chan and Rain Li... I like this song!
I hope Alex Fong will be huuuugeee in the future, because he's got the potential and he's sooo charismatic.

You're talking about the song Er Nan Yi Nu (2 guys 1 girl) I think. As for downloading songs, everyone knows that's illegal right? If you really want to support the singer, go buy the album from yesasia.com.
hey!...i know you wrote this in february, but i just googled my name which is ALEX FONG and i saw one of the sites that said squriels , it sounded interesting so i clicked on it and it said something about an asian singer named ALEX FONG and i have his cd it's pretty cool. i like it, of course i'm a girl so i kinda think he's pretty good looking. i'm pretty bored so hope you read this!

The first time i heard Alex's voice was in 2005. The first song i heard was ABC Guan (ABC man), after hearing a few other songs of his, i totally fell in love with his wonderful voice. Before long, i became a huge AS fan (Alex Fong & Stephy Tang fan).
I totally love Alex Fong (and Stephy Tang) and i just have to tell pplz who haven't heard his songs that his voice is great. He's got potential and i know he's going to become a huge star.
Although i'm a huge fan, i've got to say that although his singing is good and he's real good-looking, his acting skills need some improvement (just a tiny bit though =P) I've just watched his new movie "Dating a Vampire" and his acting is just a teeny bit... unexperienced, but he's improved heaps from since "Tian Suan Ye Ye" (My Family - a TVB series).
But no matter what, i support Alex Fong forever and of course his rumoured other half, Stephy Tang. They look so good together on-screen, i just wish they are really together in real life though...
